Evaluation
People Science and Policy Ltd have completed
an independent evaluation of Y Touring’s Mind
the Gap
project. This evaluation shows
that the performance (the play and debate combined) exerts
a powerful influence on the perceptions and attitudes of
young people. In addition to the extensive impacts on knowledge
and attitudes, the extremely positive levels of engagement
achieved make the Y-Touring model a very effective one. Read the
evaluation.

21st Century Science GCSE. '
Y Touring's Genetic
Futures website is now live and featured on the
National Grid for Learning. This site provides an excellent
introduction to genetics as well as allowing students to
push the boundary on the possibilities of genetic modification,
cloning and xenotransplantation. It has an interesting
and very engaging way of putting the possible issues across
and links very well to the new Science Key Stage 4. Programme
of Study, released September 2006
