Nobody Lives Forever Public Performances
Y Touring's production of Nobody Lives Forever, Judith Johnson's play inspired by the stem cell debate. will be performed at the Wellcome Collection london on May 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th. Find out more.

Every Breath Podcast

Every Breath, Y Touring's Theatre of Debate production, that explores the serious social, moral, scientific and political questions raised by the use of animals in medical research,has been recorded as a radio drama. Produced by Digital Fluid at the Chestnut Studios, the production is now available online to download for free. Find out more .

Full Time

The Projectionist
Playwright Laura FitzGerald has ben commissioned to write a new play about privacy and surveillence to be recorded as a downloadable podcast available summer 2008. This project is supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Find out more

The Gift DVD
A television adaptation of The Gift, a Theatre of Debate play and debate about genetic selection aimed primarily at 14-19 year-olds, is now available. This DVD/VHS is an excellent resource for teachers teaching the new Science Key Stage 4 Programme of Study, released September 2006 and the 21st Century Science GCSE.

Evaluation
People Science and Policy Ltd have completed an independent evaluation of Y Touring’s Mind the Gap
project. This evaluation shows that the performance (the play and debate combined) exerts a powerful influence on the perceptions and attitudes of young people. In addition to the extensive impacts on knowledge and attitudes, the extremely positive levels of engagement achieved make the Y-Touring model a very effective one. Read the evaluation.

Education

An excellent resource for teaching 21st Century Science GCSE. '
Y Touring's Genetic Futures website is now live and featured on the National Grid for Learning. This site provides an excellent introduction to genetics as well as allowing students to push the boundary on the possibilities of genetic modification, cloning and xenotransplantation. It has an interesting and very engaging way of putting the possible issues across and links very well to the new Science Key Stage 4. Programme of Study, released September 2006

Science
Oberon Books has published Y Touring’s four Pulse plays for large casts (youth theatres and schools) by Rhiannon Tise, Johnathan Hall, Nicola Baldwin and Rahila Gupta exploring Science and Society related issues.
