  Every Breath, Y Touring's Theatre of Debate production, that explores the serious social, moral, scientific and political questions raised by the use of animals in medical research,has been recorded as a radio drama. Produced by Digital Fluid at the Chestnut Studios, the production is now available online to download for free.
   
     
The Projectionist  

     

 

The Projectionist is a new play by Laura FitzGerald, which aims to raise young people’s awareness of the role and impact of engineering in society and on their lives by engaging them in an informed debate about privacy and surveillance.

The programme will creatively explore the topical issues surrounding privacy and surveillance and will take the form of a downloadable audio recording or podcast.

The podcast will be accompanied by a suite of online support materials which will engage directly with science and humanities specifications at GCSE and A Level. Available september 2008

Genetic Futures

Y Touring's GeneticFutures website is an online resource for teachers and students approved by the National Grid for Learning.

"This site provides and excellent introduction to genetics as well as allowing students to push the boundary on the possibilities of genetic modification, cloning and xenotransplantation.

Through an innovative mix of webdrama and factual information our Genetic Futures Website allows you to explore the human dilemmas posed by these new technologies.
