“It is encouraging to see a new generation
of writers and performers willing and able to deal
with the 21st century issues, Y Touring does it very
well. “

issues and empower its audiences of young people and
adults to generate change in themselves, others and
society.
Y Touring has continually explored its mission statement
with work suitable for students, teachers and professionals
alike.
Our education department develops workshops for our
schools productions, online
and offline educational resources for teachers,
science communicators and health workers who use our
productions and training
workshops in interative learning techniques
and role play for teachers and students

Genetic Futures Website
Y Touring has launched GeneticFutures an online resource
for teachers and students approved by the National
Grid for Learning. Below is an extract from the BECTA
review of our site......
"This site provides and excellent introduction
to genetics as well as allowing students to push
the boundary on the possibilities of genetic modification,
cloning and xenotransplantation.
It has an interesting and
very engaging way of putting the possible issues across
and links very well
to the new Science Key Stage 4 Programme of Study, released September 2006 .
It would also be an excellent resource for teaching 21st Century Science GCSE.
