| Y Touring now offer workshops
for Science Teachers or students (Key Stage 4) which
complement the new issue-based Science Curriculum, Science
for Citizens, working with the module, ‘You and
Your Genes’.
The workshops use drama techniques to initiate discussion
and debate about the ethical issues concerned with genetic
selection, screening and testing. The workshops include
a showing of the televised version of The
Gift by Nicola Baldwin.
Workshop Options:
1. 2hr. Training Workshop for Science Teachers. (Cost
£200)
2. 1hr. Workshop for Science Students. (Cost £200)
(Accommodation costs to be added if necessary.)
