About Antony Burn
I am a native New Zealander and have a long background
in political campaigning. Following a scientific
training, I was concerned from a early stage with conservation
and ecological issues, which is where I began my campaigning
career.
My focus was primarily on human and animal rights
within these contexts which is something that I maintained
on my move to England nearly 2 years ago.
I am currently Campaigns Officer for the British Union
for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV). My work
requires me to act as a parliamentary lobbyist concentrating
my efforts on MPs, Peers and MEPs as well as leading
on public campaigns.
I have been working with the BUAV for 3 months now.
