Y Touring has compiled a full evaluation of the tour
of the Every Breath programme during the autumn term
of 2006, using feedback from students and teachers.
Following the successful pilot tour in London, spring

institute, festivals, theatres and universities across
the UK.
Extracts from the Every Breath Autumn tour
2006 Evaluation
- This tour has been a very successful one, with
over four thousand students benefiting from what
has generally been regarded as an accomplished and
well-researched piece of writing and a well-realised
product
- There was a real engagement by students with the
social and ethical issues surrounding the scientific
topic.
- There was no negative feedback on the delivery
or performance. The standard of delivery was
often linked by teachers to the engagement of students’ interest
throughout the play
- These (resource) lessons were thoroughly researched
and designed to meet relevant National Curriculum
requirements for key stages 3 and 4, at the same
time as developing issues raised by the production
