Starfish

Monday 22nd February - Friday 26th March 2010
London Tour

by Judith Johnson

Supported by the Wellcome Trust, National Institute for Health Research and Central YMCA. Developed in partnership with the AMRC.

'It was very impressive that you held the attention of a diverse group of year 10 students for the best part of 2 hours. The way in which drama can introduce complicated issues and multilayered dialogue is a constant source of delight'
John Billington (Head PSHCE) Carter Community School

'An excellent set up, very well organised. The content was accessible to the pupils and relevant to KS4 science"
Zarana Haines (head of science) Studley High School

'Starfish' is a Theatre of Debate(r) production by Judith Johnson. 'Starfish' explores the complex topic of clinical trials. The performance will be followed by a live debate during which the audience will be encouraged to explore what they think and feel about the issues posed by the drama. Judith Johnson wrote 'Every Breath' and 'Nobody Lives Forever'.

This production will be touring London Schools and will be at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Studio for National Science week from the 15th - 19th March.
